Where does the coverage data come from?

We compile publicly available carrier coverage maps and community coverage reports, then compare them segment by segment along each route. We clearly mark sections where data is limited.

Does my phone support eSIM?

Most phones released since 2019 support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and most recent Samsung Galaxy models. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked.

What is the offline dead-zone map?

A GPX and PDF map of your route with signal, weak-signal and no-signal sections marked. It works fully offline in apps like Gaia GPS, Komoot or Organic Maps.
